South Carolina Aquarium

This aquarium offers exhibits, educational programs, and conservation initiatives that help visitors explore aquatic ecosystems and the management of aquatic species in human care. In addition to learning about animal husbandry and aquatic conservation through exhibits and the Sea Turtle Care Center™, visitors can access resources on sustainable seafood, local shellfish farming, and responsible seafood sourcing through the aquarium’s Good Catch initiative, which connects consumers with local fisheries and aquaculture producers.
