Field Trips at the Sustainable Aquaponics Research Center

This field trip at Georgia Southern University’s Sustainable Aquaponics Research Center gives students a hands-on introduction to aquaponics through a classroom lesson and a guided greenhouse tour. Virtual meetings are also available for aquaponics-related class discussions! Participants explore working aquaculture and hydroponics systems, observe fish and recirculating water systems, and learn about topics such as sustainability, ecology, nutrition, and fish husbandry in a real-world research setting.
