This free, work‑at‑your‑own‑pace course explores oyster biology, ecology, conservation, and aquaculture in coastal Georgia. Developed through the Coastal Awareness and Responsible Ecotourism (C.A.R.E.) program, the course highlights the role of oysters in ecosystem health, fisheries, and coastal communities. It can be taken independently or as part of stewardship and docent training programs.
