Aquaculture in the Classroom

FWC’s Aquaculture in the Classroom Program engages students through hands‑on activities that teach the fundamentals of aquaculture and stock enhancement. By raising marine species and learning how hatchery‑reared fish support wild populations, students explore how aquaculture contributes to Florida’s marine fisheries management, conservation, and science‑based restoration efforts.
